PAUL REDDICK (vocals & harmonica) & THE WEBER BROTHERS (Sam on guitar and Ryan on stand-up bass) provided another VERY special night of music at ACOUSTIC BLUE SUNDAY at THE COVE INN, Westport August 12th. These guys play like they've been together for years. Juno and W.C. Handy Award nominee Paul with two members of Ronnie Hawkins current band - either artist was worth the price of admission by themselves. Together - fabulous! Still a light turnout for this Summer Series unfortunately. Maybe people don't realize the calibre of the talent that is performing? They are truly some of Canada's best. Hope it improves for the remaining two this season or ACOUSTIC BLUE SUNDAYS will not be back next summer - which would really be too bad for Westport.But we can't afford to bring in this quality of talent without good turnouts- use it or lose it as they say. So spread the word Blues fans and book your tickets for the remaining shows now. |
