Steve Strongman

STEVE WAS STRONG AT FIRST ACOUSTIC BLUE SUNDAY OF THE SEASON

STEVE STRONGMAN - the fabulous singer, songwriter, harmonica player and guitarist (Maple Blues Award winner for Guitarist Of The Year in 2011) from "Steeltown" Hamilton kicked off the first ACOUSTIC BLUE SUNDAY Dinner & Show at THE COVE INN in Westport for this season on June 24th and treated everyone who was there to a wonderful night of blues.

The audience was a little small for the first show of the year but hopefully that will change as word gets out about how great these nights are. Those who came really enjoyed themselves though judging by the number of CD's Steve sold at the Show along and the Standing Ovation he got at the end of the night. The audience particularly enjoyed the songs off his great new CD "A Natural Fact" The Cove served up a tasty buffet dinner as always. $200 was donated to Westport's upcoming Canada Day Celebrations at Lions Club Park.

"First time here. Heard about it on DAWG FM. Now we know - we'll be back! Great "finger pickin' by Maple Blues Award winner Steve Strongman. Old school blues. Loved the atmosphere. Sound was excellent - proper level. We'll spread the word."

As Steve said this is like playing in a Living Room.
Great ambiance.

Regular attendee Pete and his wife Candy enjoying the music

The Cove's Seamus Cowan stepped in beautifully with his stand-up bass for a couple of songs with Steve.

A well deserved "shot" for Steve and Seamus after a great night of music
