STEVE MARRINER & JIMMY BOWSKIL

DINNER & SHOW $70 + HST
6-10 pm both nights

Two of Canada's best Roots Blues guitarists/singer-songwriters together on the same stage.

Steve Marriner (member of the Ottawa Supergroup MONKEYJUNK) is a dynamic and powerful performer who incorporates blues, roots and soul into an original sound. While he dedicates most of his time fronting MonkeyJunk, Steve also performs solo shows and acts as a sideman to artists like Kim Wilson (The Fabulous Thunderbirds), Harry Manx, Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar, Grady), Paul DesLauriers, Steve Dawson and David Gogo. Not yet thirty years old, Steve has already produced 10 full length studio albums. Originally renown for his prowess on the harmonica, he has become a talented multi-instrumentalist adding bass, guitar, drums, and keys into the mix. He’s won multiple Maple Blues Awards for Harmonica Player and Male Vocalist of The Year plus 2 Juno Awards with MonkeyJunk.

Jimmy Bowskill’s professional career started at age 11 when he was discovered by the late, great Jeff Healey and he's continued to grow and mature ever since. He's toured North America and Europe as the Jimmy Bowskill Band and currently plays electric guitar with the internationally famous band The Sheepdogs. He's about to release his 6th album (first solo) album on which he plays most of the instruments.
